In the afternoon of March 23, 2012, an acceptance meeting of "211" construction of key disciplines in phase III project named “disciplinary groups of ultra-precision manufacturing and measurement and control technology” was hold at conference room at the Department of Precision Instruments & Mechanology, Tsinghua University.

This project was reported by dean of the School of Mechanical Engineering, and the project leader, Professor You Zheng. He reported the disciplinary construction and answered questions from the Expert Group. The Expert Group believes that, after four years of hard work, the effectiveness and achievements of the construction of disciplinary groups of ultra-precision manufacturing and measurement and control technology” was significant. In addition, the desired aim of this project was achieved and all the construction tasks were completed. Therefore this project was accepted by the Expert Group.

A total of more than 20 people were participated in the meeting, including the Expert Group, the leaders of the relevant ministries of school, as well as the teachers from Department of Precision Instruments & Mechanology.
