On July 23-25, 2018, five teachers, including Ouyang Zheng, the director of the Department of Precision Instrument, went to Yonsei University in Korea to participate in the 7th meeting, which was jointly organized by Yonsei University School of Mechanical Engineering and Tsinghua University. Yi Moon, the vice president of research at Yonsei University, gave a welcome speech. After that, the director of the School of Mechanical Engineering, Byung-Kwon Min and Ouyang Securities introduced the basic situation of their respective departments and the long-term cooperation of the relevant departments of the two universities. Summary and recommendations were made with the exchange.

During the seminar, the professors of the two sides reported the latest research progress of their respective research groups. After the academic report, five teachers visited the Yonsei University School of Mechanical Engineering Information Storage Device Center and the Machining Center and other laboratories, and jointly submitted project proposals, held doctoral forums, promoted normal exchange of teachers and students, and deepened cooperation.

The annual Yonsei University-Tsinghua University seminar takes turns in two schools. The seminar aims to enhance the exchanges between the two universities in the field of mechanical engineering and precision instruments. Based on their respective academic advantages, they will continue to explore new forms of cooperation and strengthen cooperation in academic exchanges and mutual visits between teachers and students.
