On the morning of March 19th, the Precision Instrument Department held a staff branch committee secretary in the large meeting room of the 4304 faculty to perform the deliberations on the site and evaluate the branch secretaries. Nearly 20 people, including the party committee members and the branch secretaries, attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Liu Qiang, Party Secretary of the Department.

In accordance with school's requirements, "notification of the 2017 Party Branch Organization Life Association to evaluating party members democratically and carrying out the party branch Secretary's reporting evaluation", ten staffs and faculties Party Branch Secretaries of Department of Precision Instrument had a detailed work report around the study of the 19th National People's Congress 's spirit, it's about doing a good job of basic party construction on the key tasks, strengthening the construction of the branch and the ranks of party members. At the same time, in conjunction with the evaluation of the work of the branches and the opinions of the party members and the masses, they thoroughly analyzed the problems and deficiencies in their own work and made clear the direction of future work. After the debriefing was over, the members of the participating party committees and branch secretaries conducted on-site assessment of the debriefing situation.

Liu Qiang, Party Secretary of the Party Committee, highly affirmed the work of grass-roots party building in the party branches of the staff and workers and commented on them one by one. He stressed that the construction of the grass-roots branch should be combined with the construction of disciplines, highlight the characteristics of engineering, and fully mobilize the enthusiasm of party members and the masses. In view of the special nature of the retired branch, we must innovate our working methods based on the role of the retired support group.

At the end of the meeting, Liu Qiang deployed the application for research projects and special events of the Party branch in 2018, and asked the various branches to actively apply for basic party building characteristics work in light of their actual work.
