Research direction

To meet the urgent needs of national economic construction, we combine the world science and technology development of new discovery, the new theory and new technology, then launched a related basic research and applied research in intelligent transportation, health management and fault forecasting technology, digital simulation technology and MEMS overall application technology,.

The main research contents

1. Intelligent transportation technology:

Research on radar detection system for highway vehicles based on the principle of the RF imaging, used to fast identify the banned metal industrial products in the green channel vehicles;

Research on Freeway Based on video detection intelligent monitoring and detecting analysis system, which promotes the information, digitalization and intelligent traffic information inspecting system;

2. Health management and fault prediction technology:

Research of environmental records equipment based on MEMS sensor, and the low power consumption, a long-term, stable environment monitoring system integration technology;

3. Digital simulation technology:

Research of radar digital simulation technology with different system and different use, the digital simulation techniques of ground and sea clutter in different environment, the synthetic aperture radar imaging and simulation technology, and the flight control digital simulation technology of aircraft with different types;

4. MEMS overall application technology:

Research the application technology to carry out RF MEMS inertial devices and components in the system, to solve the key technical problems involved, for exploration of the concept, theoretical analysis, modeling and simulation, design and physical verification. Focus on the development of RF MEMS system design and application, which including the design, processing and testing of microwave / millimeter wave RF MEMS antenna device, smart antenna design of RF MEMS system, multidisciplinary design optimization, system integration method research and theory verification.

The main research progress

1. In the radar detection system of highway green channel vehicles, we developed a kind of highway green channel vehicles RF imaging testing equipment based on the principle of RF imaging. The equipment adopt the algorithm of branch area mean energy detection for metal items, and designed the automatic extraction algorithm of the effectively area in the light of the vehicle echo area to automatic detect the vehicles, that is to judge if there is metal industrial product in the vehicles or not, and to give a qualified probability and the effective loading volume probability. This equipment has passed the equipment appraisal by the traffic engineering supervision inspection center in December 2010, and the achievement appraisal by the traffic and transportation government department of Henan province in May 2011.

In the aspect of highway video intelligent monitoring detection and analysis, surrounding the construction of information, digitalization and intellectualization of expressway information control system as the application background, for the purpose of developing a freeway video monitor intelligent detection system based on video traffic incident detection, highway video surveillance intelligent testing and analysis system demand analysis and the analysis of the current situation is researched; study the complex background of highway monitoring video image enhancement technology, and the highway monitoring video image shadow detection technology, a video-based traffic parameter extraction method is formed; analyze a highway route knowledge model, proved Highway motor vehicle detection, tracking and recognition technology, carry out the expressway incident detection technology research.

2.In health management and fault forecasting technology, a low-power consumption environment monitoring and recording equipment is developed. The equipment adopts the high-performance sensor to guarantee the accuracy of measurement and accuracy; At the same time low-power consumption of the power management techniques is used, including low-power consumption chip, optimization of the current management procedures, large capacity and passive power sensor switches, so that the average current of system is less than 5μA, and system use time supplied by one power achieved six years; In the aspect of data storage, optimized efficiency data format is adopt, which can greatly reduce the storage space, and the hardware circuit can guarantee the data recorded with a power protection function, the calibration model test can effectively avoid the bad data storage affect the monitoring results; The client program can intuitively observe records data, and also make products health diagnosis and failure probability prediction according to the corresponding mathematical model and the recorded data.

3.On the radar digital simulation, the study of many kinds of radar simulation method. The continuous wave, PD, single pulse radar simulation method and system, the different particle size different mission needs of the radar simulation and signal processing method, different function of radar level simulation and signal level simulation methods is studied; In the clutter simulation, the ground and sea clutter simulation model based on the statistical model of the earth is studied, that is be able to realize the clutter amplitude statistical model: Rayleigh distribution, Weibull distribution, logarithmic normal distribution and K distribution, and the related characteristics model has Gaussian spectrum, Cauchy spectrum and the cubic spectrum. In the impurity phase target scene simulation aspects, we will be able to realize the discrete element method (DEM) and the RCS synchronous modeling, dynamic generation of sea clutter simulation based on 3 d real-time; On synthetic aperture radar imaging and simulation technology, MiniSAR echo simulation technology based on different platforms is studied, and according to the specific requirements, the echo simulation and imaging processing for big foreword angle is adopt. We also developed the MiniSAR real-time imaging processing platform. In the flight control digital simulation technology of all kinds of vehicle dynamics, the modeling, vehicle navigation algorithm simulation, vehicle guidance and control, path planning, sensor data optimization, the aircraft pneumatic control and direct force control is research, and the quality control of aircraft parameters, index, and anti-jamming of the ion is simulated. In addition, self-adaptive control and intelligent control research and simulation in the application of flight control field is done.

4.RF MEMS system design and Application Research of :

1) A variety of RF MEMS application system concept principle and realization scheme is developed, the technical requirement on the key RF MEMS devices, components and component is formed;

2) The design method and integrated technology of smart antenna, reconfigurable antenna is researched based on RF MEMS technology; The related modeling and simulation is completed, and the RF MEMS system to the antenna unit is developed;

3) The multidisciplinary design and optimization technology research of RF MEMS system is carried out; The RF MEMS system electromagnetic properties, thermal properties and application of reliability is analyzed; The RF MEMS system integration and testing method is completed, and the antenna array to verify the principle is developing.
