On the afternoon of May 22nd, the Department of Precision Instruments held a special party lecture and warning education session dedicated to fully embracing the spirit of the Central Eight Provisions. The event was conducted through a blend of online and offline participation. Party Secretary Zhang Gaofei presided over the session and delivered a comprehensive lecture, offering a thorough analysis of the Central Eight Provisions and conducting a warning education session for all faculty and student party members.

Zhang Gaofei offered a detailed exposition of the Central Eight Provisions and their implementation guidelines, highlighting the key practices and the incremental progress achieved by the Department of Precision Instruments during the educational period. He underscored the importance of reinforcing ethics education for teachers and disciplinary education for students, in accordance with the "Measures for Handling Teachers' Unethical Behavior at Tsinghua University (Trial)" and the "Regulations on Students’ Disciplinary Actions at Tsinghua University". Furthermore, he carried out warning education by examining typical cases, using nearby incidents to instruct those present, and meticulously analyzing the gravity and detrimental effects of contravening the spirit of the Central Eight Provisions. He put an emphasis that the department's faculty and students should view this educational initiative as a chance to deeply comprehend the relevant spirit in the context of real-world application, establish robust "three lines of defense" in the realms of politics, morality, and discipline, maintain a clear and unwavering understanding of the "two imperatives being perpetually ongoing", strictly adhere to the fundamental principles of conduct, and embed the comprehensive and strict governance of the Party into every aspect of advancing the department's high-quality development. Collectively, they should foster an environment characterized by integrity and vitality for sustained growth.
