On the afternoon of August 23, the Department of Precision Instrument held the assembly of teachers in the 4303 classroom of the 9003 Building to convey the latest policy on school-related work and to focus on the construction of the new semester. The meeting was chaired by Liu Qiang, secretary of the party committee.

At the meeting, Wang Xue, associate chair of the department, delivered a to introduce the confidential work of the department to the faculty. In the lecture, he pointed out that all the personnel involved must be familiar with the secret projects they are responsible for or participate in.The Department will organize relevant training program for personnel involved in to reinforce their sense of confidentiality

Tan Qiaofeng, associate chair of the department, interpreted the measures on subsidy of graduate students, scholarship and grants.He emphasized that tutors should distribute subsidies, scholarship and grants strictly in accordance with the standard of funding for assistants and graduate students

Zhang Gaofei, associate chair of the department, introduced the basic situation of the reform of the personnel system and the progress of the job placement in the autumn semester of 2017, and explained in detail the promotion policy.

Tang Fei, the chair's assistant of the department, interpreted the program of house distribution. Tang Fei gave a detailed introduction in aspects like free area, toll area, distribution of area and funding, remolding of houses to name a few, and encouraged constructing of a few high-level experimental platform.

Ou Yangzheng, the chair of the department, gave an introduction of team building, the plan for the 13th five-year as well as resources distribution. The chair put forward to achieve the concept of "two regulations", which means to publish papers on important journals regularly and to keep an important position in the special fund committee. The chair encouraged teachers applying for Yangtze, excellent yang scientists in the wave of reform and fining the rightful position and doing their best.

Liu Qiang, the secretary of the party of department, conveyed the spirit of the school's working conference in summer and the relative content of the demand for reform of the department. He asked all the party branches to ensure the quality of organizational life, and strictly implement the reform measures. Liu Qiang encouraged permanent professors taking jobs non-relevant to scholar and emphasized the admission of the PhD should be fair. He also encouraged the PhD students take part in scholar programs overseas.

More than 70 people attended the assembly, including the leading group of the department, responsible personnel as well as teachers of the department.
