The Laboratory of Heat Transfer and Thermal System is affiliated with the Departinent of Energy and Power Engineering at Tsinghua University. This research group has long been dedicated to the theoretical and key technological research on heat and mass transfer under extreme conditions, and has significant influence in fields such as low-carbon energy, aerospace power, and carbon neutrality. Its research interests include: heat transfer mechanisms in porous media and micro/nano-structures, flow and heat transfer laws of supercritical fluids, active thermal protection technologies for high-temperature surfaces, transcritical carbon dioxide heat pump systems, thermal management of high heat flux devices, and thermal scientific issues in renewable energy such as solar energy and geothermal energy.
