Recently, Tsinghua University announced the winners of the 27th Graduate Academic Rookie Award. Following the recommendation from schools, a rigorous review process, and an university-level evaluation, 10 out of 37 candidates were awarded as the 27th Tsinghua University Graduate Academic Rookie, including Hou Yao, a master’s student from the Institute of Economics, School of Social Sciences, Tsinghua University. Initiated by the Graduate Union of Tsinghua University, Tsinghua University Graduate Academic Rookie works as an important academic brand activity to cultivate innovative talents, strengthen the construction of graduate study style, advocate academic ethics and improve the academic level of graduate students, exerting a great influence on the graduate students at Tsinghua University.
