以色列理工学院开展2023年暑期实验室研修项目，拟邀请我校二、三年级本科生同学参加。项目具体事宜如下：

一、项目介绍
以色列理工学院（Technion-Israel Institute of Technology），位于以色列海法市，是以色列一所著名的理工类大学。1925年爱因斯坦来到以色列理工学院，学校正式举行开学仪式。该校设有19个院系，所涉及的领域包括科学、工程、建筑、教育、医学、管理、人文和社会科学领域。学院下设40个科研机构和9个跨学科的实验室，以色列的大学中70%的工程专业教师来自于以色列理工学院。
2023年以色列理工学院开展暑期实验室研修项目（Research Project in Biology）,该项目面向全球一流大学开放，共有12个录取名额，录取学生将获得全额奖学金资助。
The program is intended for outstanding students who are enrolled in one of the following undergraduate programs: Life Sciences, Biology, Chemical Biology, Biochemistry, Biochemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or Bioinformatics.
Students will join an active research lab and, under the guidance of a senior graduate student and the lab’s PI, will learn to design experiments, troubleshoot, and summarize data. Students will also have the opportunity to participate in and present at the lab meetings. Candidates who are accepted to participate in the program will receive on-campus housing and will have their registration and administrative fees fully covered by the faculty. Attendees will also benefit from participating in an exciting social program during their time at the Technion.

二、项目时间
2023年7月2日—7月23日（共3周）
三、相关费用
1.录取学生将获得全额奖学金资助，该费用可涵盖：on-campus housing, tuition, administrative fees, social activities etc.
2.学生需个人承担往返国际旅费、护照签证、保险等其他个人支出。
四、申请条件
1.我校正式注册在读的二、三年级本科生；
2.专业方向为：Life Sciences, Biology, Chemical Biology, Biochemistry, Biochemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or Bioinformatics.
3.英语水平良好；
4.成绩优秀。
Note：The top 12 applicants will be selected to participate in the program, and the evaluation process is based on students’ academic achievements.
五、申请流程
1.提交校内申请：11月30日前提交校内网申，登录info—在线服务系统—国际处—学生海外学习短期项目申请。拟申请项目代码为“2023011”。
2.提交外方网申：11月30日前提交外方网申，如无法提交网申，可以发送申请表（附件）及相关材料至Yoketyng@int.technion.ac.il。
3.外方学校于12月31日通知录取结果。
