On November 12, Clarivate Analytics announced its annual list of the world's Highly Cited Researchers 2025, recognizing 6,868 scientists (7,131 entries) from over 1,300 institutions across 60 countries and regions globally. Seven faculty members from the School of Environment, Tsinghua University, were included in the 2025 list. Among them, Academician Hao Ji-Ming and Professor Wang Shu-Xiao were recognized in the field of Environment and Ecology; Academician He Ke-Bin was recognized in the field of Geosciences; Professor Li Jun-Hua, Associate Researcher Wang Bin, Associate Researcher Peng Yue, and Associate Researcher Geng Guannan were recognized in the Cross-Field category.
