Sustainable Development Workshop

During the iTalk, iTalkers  shared their opinions on SDGs based on their own education background, work and life experiences. More than 30 students from 8 different departments attended the workshop. Diverse thoughts on SDGs were shared and well explored.

This iTalk was moderated by Ren Mengluo, Ph.D. student from the School of Public Policy & Management (SPPM). ITalkers included Adrian Mandela and Megan Shi, Master students of SDG program of SPPM; Al Moatasam Al Sadi, Master student of IMPA-BRI program of SPPM; and Joseph Magoua, Ph.D. student from the School of Civil Engineering. All of them shared their academic and professional experience and life stories related to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

In the Q&A Session, the moderator posed the question: "As we are facing increasingly serious environmental problems today, should it be developing or developed countries'responsibility for global environmental problems? " The guests and the audience indicated their choices by showing cards on either red or green side and then offered great illustrations on their stands.
