Tsinghua University is going to have the country's most expensive Master's of Business Administration (MBA) programmes after a coming tuition hike, the Beijing Morning Post reported yesterday.
The prestigious university is going to charge about 70,000 yuan (US$8,400) for its MBA programme and 80,000 yuan (US$9,600) for its international MBA programme, a 20,000 yuan (US$2,409) hike for each.
Peking University is also contemplating raising tuition, the newspaper revealed.
Though costly, the MBA programmes at two of China's top universities are still popular. High-paying management jobs will pay for the tuition in one or two years, said students.
