Chip giant Intel held a microprocessor development forum in Tsinghua University recently to encourage interaction between the US company and Chinese professionals.

The one-day forum showcased the latest research achievements on microprocessing, Intel said. The company will provide funds totalling US$1.3 million this year to some Chinese universities and research centres to support their research and development on microprocessing technology.
