Chinese authorities have expressed great concern over the explosions in Tsinghua and Peking universities, ordering emergency treatment for the injured and an immediate investigation into the cases.
The blasts rocked the cafeterias of China's two most prestigious universities on Tuesday, injuring nine people.
After a preliminary investigation, the police disclosed that both blasts were caused by homemade black-powder explosives.
Currently, the nine injured persons are all recovering, police are carrying out their investigation, and the campuses of both universities are in normal order.
