Student inventions go on display at exhibition
An exhibition showcasing a range of fascinating entries for Tsinghua's 34th Challenge Cup Technological Innovation Competition opened on April 23rd. It was one of the events celebrating the university's 105th anniversary.
This year’s fair occupied a 2,000 square meter exhibition area, displaying more than 300 inventions.
About 29 of Tsinghua’s schools and departments were represented, including the schools of Architecture, Materials Science and Engineering, and the Academy of Arts & Design.

The exhibition space was divided into various sections, each housing works based around a common theme, “The Future of Innovation”.
Over the course of the two-day event, the fair not only displayed outstanding technological innovations, but also allowed visitors to interact with the inventors themselves.

Guests were also able to enjoy virtual reality environments, motion sensor computer games, and stunning architectural models and design works.

The Student Association for Science and Technology at Tsinghua University (THUSAST) organizes the exhibition every year.
