President Qiu Meets with IIASA Director

In the morning March 24th, President Qiu Yong held a meeting with Prof. Pavel Kabat, Director General and Chief Executive Officer of IIASA at the west meeting hall of the Gong Ziting.

President Qiu promised to give full support to cooperation between Tsinghua and IIASA, believing that there is huge potential for future cooperation between two sides, which will not only cover environment science, and also extend into more areas.

President Qiu revealed that Tsinghua will pay more attention to international cooperation, and hoped that  there will be more academic exchanges between Tsinghua and IIASA.

Director Kabat gave a detailed introduction of the IIASA’s development in recently years, and looked forward into the broad prospects of cooperation between IIASA and Tsinghua.
