Sydney University Chancellor visits Tsinghua

Prof. Belinda Hutchinson, Chancellor of The University of Sydney (USYD), Dr. Michael Spence, USYD Vice Chancellor, and several deans from USYD, visited Tsinghua on November 26th.

The two universities will jointly build collaborative research platform on energy networks and further deepen the cooperation, said an agreement signed by Dr. Michael Spence and prof. Chen Xu, Chairperson of Tsinghua University Council.

Prof. Chen and prof. Shi Yigong, Tsinghua Vice President, met with the Australian guests at gongziting that day. the two universities will advance their communications and cooperation on student exchange programs and energy networks.

 Dr. Michael Spence delivered a keynote speech on leadership at School of Public Policy and Management during his visit. He also attended a debate competition between students from the two universities.
