15 Tsinghua Foreign experts chosen for “high-end foreign experts program”
According to the China State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs, all 15 foreign experts nominated by Tsinghua University were chosen for the 2014 “high-end foreign expert program”.
The selected foreign experts from Tsinghua are specialized in various field of expertise including engineering and material science, mathematical science, economics and management， bioscience and communications.
Professor Pena-Mora from Columbia University, Professor Gary Royle from London University and Dr. Phong-Quang Nguyen from The French National Institute of Information and Automation are all included in this year’s program.
The 15 foreign experts plan to spend altogether 50 months in Tsinghua University. Tsinghua University has been an active participant in the “high-end foreign expert program”since 2011 and has contributed 23 foreign experts to the program.
