Symphonic Ensemble Munich Performed before Tsinghua Centenary

The Symphonic Ensemble Munich performed at Tsinghua's Auditorium on the evening of April 8th, two weeks before Tsinghua's centenary celebration. The Tsinghua University Teachers' Choir participated in the performance, which was one of the activities in honor of the 100th anniversary of Tsinghua. This brought alumni of Tsinghua and the Technical University of Munich together for an enjoyable night featuring works by Beethoven.

Ms. Meng Liqiu, Vice President of the the Technical University of Munich, Tsinghua University Council Vice Chairperson Han Jingyang and Tsinghua University Council Vice Chairperson Zhang Zaixing attended the event.
The Symphonic Ensemble Munich is an amateur orchestra that began as a small ensemble in 1996. It has since grown into a full-sized symphony orchestra. The group has earned a reputation for excellence and often performed at the renowned Gasteig Center for the Arts in Munich.
