Tsinghua Students and U.S. University Volunteers to Participate in Poverty Alleviation Projects

A total of 150 Tsinghua students, 68 volunteers from U.S. universities, and 30 Tsinghua faculty members will participate in the Poverty Alleviation Projects located in about 30 of China's impoverished counties from July 19 to 28. The volunteers will help teach computer and English in the impoverished areas. Tsinghua University initiated the Poverty Alleviation Projects in 2004.
