TNList held International Advisory Meeting

Tsinghua National Laboratory for Information Science and Technology (TNList) held its first "International Advisory Meeting" on July 13.

Nine TNList International Consultant Committee members attended the meeting, including Academician Vincent Poor, Dean of Engineering School of Princeton University, Academician James Plummer, Dean of Engineering School of Stanford University, Academician Shankar Sastry, Dean of Engineering School of the University of California, Berkeley, Academician P. R. Kumar from University of Illinois, Academician Yannis Yortsos, Dean of Engineering School of University of Southern California, Professor Jeannette Wing, President’s Professor of Computer Science in Carnegie Melon, Dr. Shigeru Azuhata, Vice President & Executive Officer of Hitachi. Ltd, Professor Byeong Gi Lee, Former Commissioner of the Korea Communications Commission (KCC), and Dr. Nim Chueng, the Chief Executive Officer of Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institution (ASTRI).

Tsinghua University Vice President and TNList Standing Deputy Chairman Kang Kejun attended the meeting and extended a warmly welcome to TNLis International Consultant Committee members.

The International Consultant Committee members discussed and provided insightful advice for TNList’s development.

After the meeting, the International Consultant Committee members visited China Next Generation Internet Demonstration Project CNGI-CERNET2/6IX---Internet Operation Center and Application Demo Center on the campus.

The TNList International Consultant Committee is composed of 14 distinguished experts in the field. They will provide suggestions for TNList’s future development, help promote TNList’s international cooperation and exchange, and improve its global reputation.
