Tsinghua President Gu Binglin attended the 14th Association of Pacific Rim Universities (APRU) Annual Presidents' Meeting from June 30 to July 5 in the University of Auckland, New Zealand.

During his visit, President Gu visited the University of Auckland and met with Professor Stuart McCutcheon, President of the University of Auckland, exchanging ideas on cooperation among Tsinghua University, the University of Auckland, and Qinghai University.

President Gu also met with Professor David Skegg, President of the University of Otago, and discussed future collaboration. An agreement for cooperation and student exchange was signed between the University of Otago and Tsinghua during the meeting.
