Ms. Henna Virkkunen, Finland's Minister of Education and Science, visited Tsinghua on November 11. Tsinghua Vice President Chen Xu had a discussion with Ms. Virkkunen. Mr. Lars Backstrom, Ambassador of Finland to China, accompanied her on the visit.

In their discussion, Vice President Chen Xu gave a summary of Tsinghua's recent development. They also exchanged ideas on education and cooperation between universities.
