The 27th "Challenge Cup" Technology Innovation Competition was held on April 26th in honor of the university’s 98th anniversary. The theme of the exhibition was Innovation, Creation and Future.

University leaders including Tsinghua President Gu Binglin, Chairman of the University Council Hu Heping, Tsinghua Education Foundation Chairman He Meiying, Tsinghua Vice President Chen Jining, Tsinghua Vice President Kang Kejun, Tsinghua Vice President Wang Jinsong, Tsinghua Vice President Zhang Fengchang, Tsinghua Vice President Chen Xu, Tsinghua Vice President Yuan Si, Tsinghua University Council Vice Chairperson Han Jingyang, Tsinghua University Council Vice Chairperson Shi Zongkai, attended the opening ceremony.

The exhibition includes more than 300 works from 28 schools and departments.
