Korea University and Tsinghua University signed a Memorandum of Understanding covering exchange of information and academic publication, the exchange of academic staff and students, and joint cooperative research projects during Korea University President Ki-Su LEE’s visit on April 15.

Tsinghua President Gu Binglin exchanged ideas on education and research development with President LEE prior to the signing ceremony.

“Korea University is an important partner of Tsinghua. Both sides have carried out collaboration on student exchange,” said President Gu. President LEE and President Gu expressed the hope that Tsinghua and Korea University can carry out more exchange programs in the future.

President Ki-Su LEE had made a previous visit to Tsinghua in November of 2008.
