Tsinghua University and the University of Alberta signed A Memorandum of Understanding for Academic Cooperation on November 11 during a visit by the University of Alberta’s Provost and Vice-President Dr. Carl Amrhein. According to the MOU, Tsinghua University and the University of Alberta will further promote their academic cooperation and exchange efforts to include doctoral student placements under the framework of the University of Alberta - China Scholarship Council (CSC) agreement, visiting doctoral programs, and academic and research collaboration.
