World Economic Forum (WEF) President Klaus Schwab, who is in China for the WEF’s Summer Davos Forum in Tianjin this month, visited Tsinghua on September 22. Tsinghua President Gu Binglin exchanged ideas with President Schwab on research and disciplines development. During their talk, President Gu introduced Mr. Schwab to Tsinghua’s research initiatives in the areas of low carbon energy and international cooperation.
