Physics Professor Chen Xinyi became the eleventh Tsinghua teacher to be honored by China’s Ministry of Education as a Renowned Teacher of the Nation. The award had its inception four years ago.

Professor Chen Xinyi joined the Department of Physics in 1988. He has been director of the teaching and research division for basic physics since 1996.
