Mr. Atta-Ur-Rahman, Chairman of the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC), visited Tsinghua on July 18. Tsinghua President Gu Binglin had a talk with Mr. Atta-Ur-Rahman.

During his visit, Mr. Atta-Ur-Rahman attended the graduate student commencement, where seven Pakistani students were awarded doctoral degrees.
