The School of Economics and Management upgraded its Modern Management Research Center at Tsinghua to be one of the "one Hundred key research centers on Social Sciences" recently.

Established in 1999, the Modern Management Research Center has gained fruitful result in management theory and business management. The research center plans to do more research on Internet economy.

Officials from the Ministry of Education attended the unveiling ceremony on March 6.

Tsinghua vice president Hu Dongcheng delivered a speech on the ceremony and encouraged faculty to do more cutting-edge research by taking advantage of the inter-disciplinary superiority of Tsinghua University.
