Tsinghua University School of Public Policy and Management (Tsinghua SPPM) convened its 2026 Global Advisory Board (GAB) Meeting on October 10 at Tsinghua University. In recent years, the School has continued to strengthen its institutional capacity and significantly enhanced its international influence, making solid progress toward building a world-class discipline in public management. As artificial intelligence (AI) reshapes higher education, Tsinghua University is actively exploring ways to integrate AI more deeply into education, advancing AI-driven transformation of research paradigms, and strengthening open cooperation in the field of global governance, particularly AI governance. Looking ahead, he expressed the hope that SPPM would remain rooted in China while embracing a global vision and continue to contribute governance insights of global significance in support of the modernization of China’s governance system. He also hoped that GAB members would continue to offer valuable advice to help SPPM accelerate its progress toward joining the ranks of the world's leading schools of public management, and work together to make greater contributions to improving the global governance system and creating a better future for humanity.
