On June 21, Prime Minister of Montenegro Milojko Spajić visited Tsinghua University. Yang Bin, vice chancellor of the University Council, met with the Prime Minister at the Main Building, where both sides exchanged views on deepening educational cooperation and strengthening cultural and people-to-people exchanges.

Yang Bin, on behalf of Tsinghua University, welcomed Prime Minister Spajić back to the campus, where he once studied. He noted that Tsinghua has remained committed to serving national needs while steadily advancing its global strategy, with sustained efforts in talent cultivation and scientific research leading to continuous growth in its social impact and global standing. He highlighted the University’s strategic focus on artificial intelligence, sustainable development, climate change, and energy transition, and expressed hope for deeper substantive cooperation with Montenegrin universities in student and faculty exchanges, joint research, and talent training, so as to promote mutually beneficial outcomes in higher education.
Milojko Spajić recalled his memorable experience studying Chinese at Tsinghua in 2012. He noted that Tsinghua brings together outstanding students from across China and around the world, and that his time at the University shaped his first impression of China, leaving an indelible memory. He expressed hope that this visit would serve as an opportunity to promote closer cooperation between Montenegrin universities and Tsinghua University, further expand substantive cooperation in infrastructure development, artificial intelligence, and people-to-people exchanges, and inject new vitality into bilateral relations.
