On April 26, the 44th "Challenge Cup" Student Extracurricular Academic Science and Technology Exhibition commenced at Tsinghua University, showcasing innovative works by Tsinghua students in a range of cutting-edge fields.

The "Challenge Cup" competition this year received a total of 337 submissions. After the preliminary and re-examination processes conducted by the departments, 173 undergraduate projects and nine graduate projects entered the university's final round. The final defense for this year's competition took place on April 25. In the main track, a total of 114 award-winning projects were selected, including seven grand prizes, 11 first prizes, 32 second prizes, and 64 third prizes. The People's Livelihood track saw six projects receiving awards.
