We are also pleased to see that each year, a group of outstanding students from Malaysia come to Tsinghua University to acquire knowledge, enhance their skills, experience China, and understand China. They strive to become ambassadors who contribute to the development of China-Malaysia relations. Moving forward, Tsinghua aims to further strengthen exchanges and cooperation with Malaysian partners, striving to deepen understanding and friendship between the younger generations of both nations and contribute to building a community with a shared future for mankind, Qiu added.

The statement recognized Anwar as an outstanding politician, economist, and social activist who has long been committed to promoting democratic reforms and economic development in Malaysia. Under his leadership, Malaysia has successfully implemented a series of structural reforms that have strengthened domestic economic growth and improved the standard of living for its citizens. At the same time, Anwar has been an advocate for peace, dialogue, and cooperation on the international stage, making tireless efforts to promote peace and development at both regional and global levels.
