On August 30, Guo Lu, an associate researcher from Tsinghua University's School of Architecture who was representing Beijing, won first prize in the liberal arts group of the 7th National Teaching Competition for Young College Teachers. This is the fifth time that a teacher from Tsinghua has won first prize in this contest.
The competition is divided into five categories: liberal arts, science, engineering, medicine, and ideological and political theory courses. A total of 159 contestants from 130 universities participated in the final held in Shanghai.
