Feng Juan, Hon Hai Chair Professor at the Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management (Tsinghua SEM) and deputy head of the Department of Management Science and Engineering, was elected vice president of Region 3 (Asia, Pacific) of the Association for Information Systems (AIS).

Founded in 1994, AIS is world’s foremost academic professional organization in the field of Information Systems. It has more than 4,000 global members from over 90 countries and regions. It is known for its influence in management information system in academia worldwide.

Over the years, Feng has focused on the business and policy challenges brought by new technology, as well as changes brought by information technology to the information environment. Feng’s research is regularly featured in leading academic journals in the areas of information systems and information technology, such as “Information Systems Research” and “Management Science”.

Feng also served as senior editor for top international journals, including “Production and Operations Management” and “E-commerce Research and Applications”.
