and the 20th Anniversary of Macao's Return to the Motherland

Tsinghua and Macao Exhibition held in Macao

The opening ceremony of the Tsinghua and Macao Exhibition was held in Macao on September 7th 2019 in joint celebration of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China and the 20th anniversary of Macao's return to the motherland.

The Tsinghua and Macau exhibition was jointly organized by the Tsinghua University History Museum, Tsinghua University Archives, the Tsinghua University Alumni Association of Macao and the Tsinghua Alumni Association. Tsinghua University Council Chairperson Chen Xu visited the exhibition before the opening ceremony.

The Tsinghua and Macao Exhibition consists of two major sections: The Past and Present of Tsinghua, and Tsinghua and Macao. With more than 140 photos, 10 charts and 30 precious historical materials, the exhibition comprehensively showcases more than one hundred years of history of Tsinghua University, celebrating its significant achievements in recent years and vividly presenting the long-standing exchanges and fruitful cooperation between Tsinghua University and Macao. The exhibition will be held for one month.
