  Expertise and Research Interests

[1] Bioinformatics

Applying complex system information processing methods in molecular biology, such as research on the information structure of the genome sequences, gene regulatory network modeling and simulation, and the analysis of susceptibility genes for complex diseases etc.

[2] Intelligent information processing

Intelligent signal processing method and system research, such as artificial neural network and fuzzy system, expert system, theoretical model of evolutionary algorithm and the application in intelligent control of information network, information excavations, extraction and multimedia data compression and organizations under high-speed network environment, as well as the intelligent control of industrial production process and equipment.

[3] signal processing

Research on signal processing theory and application, such as signal reconstruction using partial data, wavelet analysis, fractal signal processing and seismic data processing.
