Tsinghua students and professors are making full use of the online and offline hybrid learning mode to continue their teaching and learning activities as Tsinghua University strengthened epidemic prevention and control measures due to the latest surge in Covid-19 cases in Beijing.

A number of practical courses, such as “Manufacturing Engineering Experience” and “Handcraft Innovation Practice,” are currently underway, where professors and teachers residing off-campus deliver lectures, tutorials, and practicals online to the students on campus.

A total of 481 students selected three courses in “Manufacturing Engineering Practice,” working through the design and production stage to the final assembly commissioning phase.

With the university giving full play to hybrid learning, students across disciplines have been able to interact with their professors and continue their studies and research while staying safe.
