On the fi fth session of The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) conference of the parties (COP5) held at Geneva on April 28, Professor Li Jinhui of SOE won the 2011 Stockholm Convention’s PEN Award for his outstanding contribution of disposal of PCBs.

    Li Jinhui, who is also the General Secretary of Asia-Pacific Regional Center for Hazardous Waste Management Training and Technology Transfer, together with other 7 PEN members, won the voting for the awards.
