The School of Environment, Tsinghua University is established under the authority of university council on January 7th, 2011, meanwhile the Department of Environmental Science and Engineering is brought to an end.

The school comprises three departments, Department of Environmental Science, Department of Environmental Engineering, and Department of Environmental Planning and Management.
