Research is in the multi-disciplinary area of condensed matter physics theory. Special attention is paid to the following areas:

 

a. Exotic quantum magnetic states and quantum phase transitions in low-dimensional strongly correlated systems;

b. Quantum impurities and defects in correlated electron systems.

c. Transport properties of quantum mesoscopic electronic devices;
