The Round Table Conference on the Fintech legislature and Regulation Was Successfully Held at Tsinghua Law School

The closed-door round table conference on the fintech legislature and regulation was successfully held at Tsinghua law school on Oct 31th, 2018. The scholars from Shandong University, University of International Business and Economics (UIBE), The Central University of Finance and Economics(CUFE), China Academy of Social Science(CASS), Tsinghua University and The University of New South Wales(UNSW), and practitioners from China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC), Ant Financial Company, Tencent Financial Research Institution, and JD Financial Research Institution attended this conference.

Dean Professor Weixing Shen of Tsinghua University Law School gave the warm welcome remarks and wishes to the guests on the opening ceremony.

 

 The topic of the first section was Fintech Development and Regulation, which was chaired by Professor Tiantao Shi from Tsinghua University. Dean Professor Wei Shen from Shandong University, Mr. Wei Song from Ant Financial Company and Associate Professor Elizabeth Thurbon from UNSW gave the speeches. Dr. Guang Yang from CSRC gave the comments.

  

The topic of the second section was the Intelligent Finance Development and Regulation, which was chaired by Professor Shangshang Liang from Tsinghua University. Professor Huiqiang Xing from The Central University of Finance and Economics, Associate Professor Simin Gao from Tsinghua University, Dr. Haifeng He From JD Financial Company gave the speeches. Associate Professor Zhaohui Shen from Tsinghua University gave the comments.

 

The topic of the third section was Innovation and Regulation of Currency and Payment System, which was chaired by Professor Jun Fu from University of International Business and Economics. Associate Professor Lei Zhao from China Academy of Social Science(CASS), Associate Professor Heng Wang from CIBEL Initiative, UNSW Law, Mr. Jian Liu from Tencent Financial Research Institution, Dr. Rob Nicholls from UNSW Business schoo gave the speeches. Mr. James Gong, Senior Associate of Herbert Smith Freehills gave the comments.
