The school will take post-graduate teaching and training as the most important and core aspect of this school, in responding to the high needs of advanced journalism and communication graduates. This is also required by the goals of a research-oriented university.

Currently we offer two MA programs (2-3 years of full time study) in five paths.

MA in Journalism studies with the following paths:
-Journalism Studies
-International Journalism and Communication
-News Writing and Reporting in English

MA in Communication Studies with the following paths:
-Film and Television Studies
-New Media Studies
-Media Operation and Management

There will be new MA to be introduced in 2007, which is MA Global Business Journalism and Communication and the entire curriculum will be in English and jointly sponsored by a number of international news media and education foundations.

The school is currently supervising a dozen of PhD students.
