Dr. Jinxi. Wu, born in 1969 in Laiwu city, Shandong Province, PRC.

Associate Professor in School of Social Sciences,Tsinghua University in China.

Director of Center of Strategic Emerging Industries in Tsinghua University (CSEI-THU).

Dr. Jinxi Wu graduated from School of Economics & Management in Tsinghua University in 2002 and got his PhD degree. Then, he worked in School of Public Policy and Management in Tsinghua University as a post-doctor from 2003 to 2005. He visited Haas Business School in University of California at Berkeley and Graduate School of Business in Stanford University from 2009 to 2010. And as a visiting scholar he also visited School of Public Policy in George Mason University in 2004, the Center for International Manufacturing in Cambridge University in UK in 2001, Hong Kong University in 2003, etc. And as a consultant, he worked in Development Research Center of the State Council for   theoretical research about state owned firm in 2005. As a mechanical engineer, He also worked for Lai Wu Steel Company in China from 1991 to 1996.

Dr. Wu has been studying in the area of strategy management, knowledge management, innovation systems and policies, etc. In the recent years, he conducted continuous and high quality researches in the above fields.

In recent years, he had been in charge of two projects of the Natural Science Foundation of China(NSFC), one project of the Chinese Post-doctor Foundation, and as a major researcher, he participated in one project held by Development Research Center of the State Council named research on China style management, participated in one of the projects of “985” key projects of Tsinghua University. Meanwhile, he also joined in a dozen of scientific research projects granted by the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Science and Technology, Shanghai Stock Exchange, National Power Grid Company, Municipal Government of Jinan, COFCO Group etc.

In the past few years, Dr. Wu published more than 20 papers on core academic periodicals. Most of them were collected by CSSCI. The articles published on some core periodicals were quoted for many times. And a monograph, The Strategy To get Advantage by knowledge management: The Practice of Chinese Enterprises, was published in 2005.

Experience
