Dr. Ke Rong is an associate professor in the Institute of Economics, School of Social Science at Tsinghua University in China. Ke has received the PhD degree from University of Cambridge and obtained Bachelor degree in Tsinghua University. Before joining Tsinghua, he was a senior lecturer in the University of Exeter and Bournemouth University in UK and a visiting scholar in the Harvard Business School. His current research interests focus on Business/Innovation Ecosystems, Platform Economy and Sharing Economy. He has published over 20 refereed journal articles including Journal of International Business Studies, International Journal of Production Economics, Journal of International Management, Group and Organization Management, Technological Forecasting & Social Change and Expert System with Applications. Dr.Rong has been leading and participating several research projects sponsored by National Science Foundation of China, British Academy and so on. These projects explored the business ecosystem and platform strategy in several emerging industries such as 3D printing, Electric Vehicles, Smartphone, Mobile Internet and Rideshares in the sharing economy. He also served as the editorial board member in leading journal- Long Range Planning and member of Expert Network of World Economic Forum.
