Tsinghua receives 45 awards in Geneva invention exhibition

Forty-one teams from Tsinghua University won a total of 45 awards in this year’s special edition of the International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva. The online results were announced on March 28, local time in Switzerland.

The awards included 20 gold medals, 23 silvers and two bronze, a record high for the university.

The International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva was founded in 1973 and held once a year. It was not held in 2020 due to the COVID-19 epidemic.

By 2022, a total of 47 exhibitions and two online special editions have been successfully held.

Under the patronage of the Swiss Federal Government, the State, the City of Geneva and the World Intellectual Property Organization, the annual exhibition is one of the oldest, largest and most well-known invention exhibitions around the world.
