Honorary Academic Titles Conferred To Overseas Experts, Scholars and Prominent Public Figures
To honour overseas scientists, experts and prominent public figures who have made contributions to the development of science and technology of Tsinghua University, to promote the cooperations and exchanges between Tsinghua University and international academic circles, and to win the supports from overseas to the development of Tsinghua University, the university has set up 6 honorary academic titles: Honorary Doctor, Honorary Professor, Guest Professor, Consulting Professor, Guest Associate Professor and Honorary Alumnus (Alumna).
