Biography
Xiaojie Lu is a lecturer in Law at Tsinghua University Law School, Beijing, China.
She has focused her LL.D. research on the legal effects of WTO Agreements in domestic
legal orders, such as in U.S., E.U., Japan and China. She is especially interested in matters
relating to regulation of international trade. She is now working on the project The Application of
Precautionary Principle in WTO Law. Additionally, she is going to undertake two courses in
Tsinghua Law School in Fall 2005, one of which is WTO Law for undergraduate students, and
the other is Leading Cases in WTO Dispute Settlement Mechanism for graduate students.
