Civil Engineering

The precursor of the Department was the Department of Engineering in the University Section of Tsinghua School. In 1926 its civil engineering section was re-named the Department of Civil Engineering. At present, the Structural Engineering is a national key discipline.

The Department has two Bachelor's programs: Structural Engineering, and Construction and Management. It also offers 7 Master's programs, and 3 doctoral programs. The Department has 21 professors, 11 supervisors for Ph.D. candidates, and 41 associate professors.
